HAAKE INSURANCE AGENCY formally known as Thompkins & Company Insurance Brokers, created the Thompkins Masonic Insurance Program to service the specialized property and liability insurance requirements of the Masonic community for all 50 states.  We have been serving the needs of the Masonic family in the United States for over 50 years.

We at Thompkins Masonic Insurance Program are extremely pleased to announce our merger with The Haake Companies, a large and highly-regarded insurance firm based in Overland Park, Kansas effective December 12, 2007.    As the nation’s leading insurer of Masonic organizations, we will continue to operate under the Thompkins “brand,” now as a division of The Haake Companies.

This new affiliation will allow us to continue serving the Masonic fraternity with an expanding array of insurance products, and to do that with the sizable resources that Haake brings to the table.   Our clients and agents will continue to work with the proven team here at Thompkins, and that team will be expanded as we move forward in our new affiliation.   Our program carrier, Praetorian Insurance Company, will remain in place, and we’ll further benefit from Haake’s already-excellent relationship with that company.

Especially for our agents, it’s important to add that Haake’s senior people have extensive experience in the area of affinity and fraternal programs.   With our commitment to serving the specialized needs of the Masonic market, that kind of experience was critical for us in choosing a partner, and Haake fits that profile perfectly.
